Practice mode: rehearse the call

See the lines the other person is likely to say, answer them out loud, then compare with a calm reply. A few minutes of rehearsal makes the real call feel familiar.

How to get the most from practice

Say your answers out loud, even quietly. Speaking engages different muscles than reading, and hearing your own voice say a calm sentence is the closest thing to the real call. If you get stuck, reveal the suggested reply and say it twice. Our guide to what to say when you freeze has more rescue phrases.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a microphone?

No. Practice mode doesn't record anything. You just read the line and speak or type your reply.

Can I practice with a friend?

Yes. Have a friend read the rep's lines while you answer.
